  • SPEAKER_01: Hello?
  • SPEAKER_01: Hey, it's Dennis.
  • SPEAKER_01: It's Dennis, sir.
  • SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, this is Zach, Jordash.
  • SPEAKER_01: I'm brand new to Alberta.
  • SPEAKER_01: Now, how much does it take to get on to your lathe there?
  • SPEAKER_03: Well, it totally depends what you have in mind, because, like, what are you after and let me know that?
  • SPEAKER_03: And then we can see what we can do and what our lead times would be, Zach.
  • SPEAKER_01: I need some parts.
  • SPEAKER_01: I need some pieces here, probably in the thousands.
  • SPEAKER_01: A few gross of them.
  • SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like tongue depressors.
  • SPEAKER_01: You know what tongue depressors are?
  • SPEAKER_03: Not really.
  • SPEAKER_03: I better be careful thinking I do so.
  • SPEAKER_01: A tongue depressor, you know, you stick it on your tongue.
  • SPEAKER_01: It's like a popsicle stick.
  • SPEAKER_01: Okay.
  • SPEAKER_01: And I need a few thousand of them, a few gross.
  • SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
  • SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
  • SPEAKER_03: Well, I'd be willing to see if that's something that's suitable for our equipment.
  • SPEAKER_03: But are you able to send me a drawing or something?
  • SPEAKER_01: I could send you a few dollars.
  • SPEAKER_01: That's no problem.
  • SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
  • SPEAKER_01: I can't find the things anywhere, and I'm brand new here.
  • SPEAKER_01: I'm right here in Alberta.
  • SPEAKER_03: Where are you right now?
  • SPEAKER_01: I'm on the south end of town.
  • SPEAKER_03: Oh, and Lesbridge, eh?
  • SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
  • SPEAKER_03: Yeah, okay.
  • SPEAKER_01: So I need tongue depressors.
  • SPEAKER_01: I need lots of, my tongue's moving, wow.
  • SPEAKER_01: So I need a product that's going to do the job.
  • SPEAKER_01: I can't find them anywhere.
  • SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
  • SPEAKER_03: Well, I'm not sure that that's a product that we would be able to help you with.
  • SPEAKER_01: Oh, wow.
  • SPEAKER_03: Drawing.
  • SPEAKER_03: At least then I would.
  • SPEAKER_03: No.
  • SPEAKER_01: I can send you four or five dollars right now, like I say.
  • SPEAKER_03: Well, what's your address?
  • SPEAKER_03: Your email, and then you can copy me back with some drawings.
  • SPEAKER_01: Why don't I just pop by?
  • SPEAKER_01: I can take the look at your lathe, and then you can,
  • SPEAKER_01: maybe would you might take a look inside my cheek here and tell me what you see?
  • SPEAKER_03: No, I'm not going to do that.
  • SPEAKER_01: Well, that might help when I get onto your lathe, you know.
  • SPEAKER_03: You're not getting on my lathe.
  • SPEAKER_01: Oh, no?
  • SPEAKER_03: I don't know what you mean by getting onto my lathe.
  • SPEAKER_01: Well, I need some pieces here.
  • SPEAKER_03: But I need a drawing.
  • SPEAKER_01: Well, it's a tongue depressor.
  • SPEAKER_03: It doesn't matter. I still need a drawing.
  • SPEAKER_01: My tongue's moving, wow.
  • SPEAKER_01: And I need a product that I can use.
  • SPEAKER_03: So you don't have it designed yet.
  • SPEAKER_01: I've got a drawing.
  • SPEAKER_03: That's all I ask for.
  • SPEAKER_03: I don't know that this is something we can help you with.
  • SPEAKER_03: If you come in, I'll look at a drawing, and that's where we'll start.
  • SPEAKER_01: Why don't you just peek in my cheek and tell me what you see,
  • SPEAKER_01: and then that will help design the,
  • SPEAKER_01: whole product. That would make it real simple.
  • SPEAKER_03: I'm not peeking in your cheek. No, I don't do that.
  • SPEAKER_03: I'm not going to design it. You have to tell me.
  • SPEAKER_03: And I can't look in your mouth to tell you what we need to design.
  • SPEAKER_01: Oh, come on.
  • SPEAKER_03: No, I'm not going to. It's simple.
  • SPEAKER_01: It won't take much of your time, you know.
  • SPEAKER_03: No, I'm not going. I simply am not going to.
  • SPEAKER_03: So I don't know that this is a job that we can accept.
  • SPEAKER_03: I'd rather not.
  • SPEAKER_01: Well, I can give you a deposit. I can give you $10.
  • SPEAKER_01: Well, I can give you a deposit. I can give you $10.
  • SPEAKER_03: No. I don't think we're the right company for this.
  • SPEAKER_03: You need somebody that gets into designing, and we're not that people, okay?
  • SPEAKER_01: Look, and I just want to get on your lathe.
  • SPEAKER_01: That's all I need, and you can tell me what you're not getting on at our lathe.
  • SPEAKER_01: Why's that?
  • SPEAKER_03: Just because.
  • SPEAKER_01: Okay, sir.
  • SPEAKER_01: I'll be there in the next 15-20.
  • SPEAKER_01: We'll go over.
  • SPEAKER_01: I'll be there.
  • SPEAKER_03: No, excuse me, it's not going to work because I don't think this is a job we can handle.
  • SPEAKER_01: Well, I already started the car.
  • SPEAKER_01: I already started the car.
  • SPEAKER_03: I just, where do you want me to go?
  • SPEAKER_03: I think there's another shop. I'll give you another address if you want, that does some of that.
  • SPEAKER_03: Do you want it?
  • SPEAKER_01: No, no.
  • SPEAKER_01: My time is.
  • SPEAKER_01: moving, wow.
  • SPEAKER_01: My tongue's going to do the job up here.
  • SPEAKER_01: And I need some...
  • SPEAKER_03: This isn't going anywhere, and I just assume that you didn't come in, because we're not going to be able to work with you, so...
  • SPEAKER_01: Let's just work something through.
  • SPEAKER_01: It'll take 10 minutes of your time.
  • SPEAKER_01: I need a tongue depression.
  • SPEAKER_01: I don't take 10 minutes of your time.
  • SPEAKER_01: I need a tongue depressed.
  • SPEAKER_01: You want to...
  • SPEAKER_03: Excuse me one minute, sir.
  • SPEAKER_01: All right.
  • SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you go ahead.
  • SPEAKER_01: Go for it.
  • SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
  • SPEAKER_00: B&D machine.
  • SPEAKER_01: Hi.
  • SPEAKER_01: May I please speak to Chad, uh, shopman.
  • SPEAKER_01: manager.
  • SPEAKER_00: Is this regarding the tongue depressors?
  • SPEAKER_01: No, ma'am.
  • SPEAKER_00: Oh.
  • SPEAKER_00: Because some keeps calling for tongue depressors?
  • SPEAKER_00: We don't have that order.
  • SPEAKER_00: What is it you're looking for with Chad?
  • SPEAKER_01: Oh, I send him an email and some blueprint and a fact.
  • SPEAKER_01: I'm just making sure he got him.
  • SPEAKER_00: Oh, sorry.
  • SPEAKER_00: He's been having some prank calls, but it was saying Colorado.
  • SPEAKER_00: So I apologize.
  • SPEAKER_00: No problem.
  • SPEAKER_01: Well, if that ain't a fine,
  • SPEAKER_01: How'd you do, huh?
  • SPEAKER_00: Oh, sorry.
  • SPEAKER_00: Okay.
  • SPEAKER_00: You weren't the one that called earlier then.
  • SPEAKER_00: So sorry, I apologize.
  • SPEAKER_01: No worries.
  • SPEAKER_00: Heck of a time with somebody here.
  • SPEAKER_00: Let me transfer you to you.
  • SPEAKER_00: Oh, thank you.
  • None: Okay.
  • SPEAKER_04: Chad here.
  • SPEAKER_01: Chad, it's Zach Jordash.
  • SPEAKER_01: How are you doing, man?
  • SPEAKER_04: Good.
  • SPEAKER_01: Okay, listen, can we meet this afternoon for 10 to 15 minutes before you head out?
  • SPEAKER_01: Okay.
  • SPEAKER_01: How about in the a.m. tomorrow?
  • SPEAKER_04: No, not at all.
  • SPEAKER_01: I got a prototype made.
  • SPEAKER_01: I was just going to drop it off.
  • SPEAKER_01: Present it to you.
  • SPEAKER_04: Well, I don't need to see it.
  • SPEAKER_04: Thanks.
  • SPEAKER_01: Well, can I just show it to you?
  • SPEAKER_01: Put it in your mouth and you can.
  • SPEAKER_04: I'm going to call here.
  • SPEAKER_02: I am blown away at the quality and sonic quality.
  • SPEAKER_02: Whoever put that together, put some love into it.
  • SPEAKER_02: That is an absolutely amazing set of recordings.
  • SPEAKER_02: And it's like we're in that room with you, so that's awesome.
  • SPEAKER_02: And listening to the outtakes, the alternates, the alternates,
  • SPEAKER_02: it was like a documentary.
  • SPEAKER_02: It was like you were there,
  • SPEAKER_02: especially if you listen to it with good earbuds or headphones.
  • SPEAKER_02: There's so much banter and talking going on in the background.
  • SPEAKER_02: I'm still getting goosebumps from what I listen to today.
  • SPEAKER_02: And I've still got more to go.
  • SPEAKER_02: So now I am totally excited.
  • SPEAKER_02: Hopefully it is put together with as much love as this was.
  • SPEAKER_02: Thank you for bringing us into your world.
  • SPEAKER_02: We appreciate that.
  • SPEAKER_01: I mean, I could not hear over here.
  • SPEAKER_01: What was going on?
  • SPEAKER_01: I was hearing grass grow over here.
  • SPEAKER_01: I mean, nothing.
  • SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
  • SPEAKER_01: So I'm glad I tried it again.
